The transparent window can be transparent or print one of our eight transparent colors on all materials.

Internal notches refer to all notches outside the periphery of the graphic overlay layer. The tolerance for the peripheral and all internal cuts is +/- 0.01 inches.

Glue-free area

When the window and area of the graphic overlay will cover the button and may not require adhesive, a glue-free area must be used. For the best results, we recommend using 10 mil thick Lexan® polycarbonate material to make the graphic coating layer and reserve the glue-free area, as the adhesive is applied after the surface printing is completed.

The adhesive area can be almost any shape and size. Just specify the glue-free area in your drawing file and leave a tolerance of 0.05 inches around all Windows. To ensure adhesion, at least 0.250 inches (approximately 0.63 centimeters) of adhesive is required around the periphery.
