Standard usage process

Base material pre-treatment

Wipe the device casing that needs to be adhered, thoroughly remove dust, oil, release agents, and moisture from the surface, and let it stand to dry completely until the surface is fully dry. For rough paint surfaces, simple sanding treatment is recommended to ensure that the adhesive fully adheres to the base material.

Alignment and fixation operation

Keep the light blue transfer film, lay the entire label flat and align it with the preset marking area of the product. Use fingers to evenly press the entire film surface to ensure that the nickel label back adhesive fully adheres to the shell surface. Do not apply force locally to avoid marking displacement.

Peel off the transfer film

After pressing for 1 minute, tear off the surface blue PET transfer film along a gentle angle. The three-dimensional nickel LOGO will be completely retained and attached to the product surface. Slow down the speed during the operation to avoid deformation and lifting of the nickel label due to pulling.

Wait for curing and standing

After the installation is completed, re-press the marking for 30 seconds, and stand still in a normal temperature environment for 24 hours. The back adhesive can reach the designed rated bonding strength. The assembly and shipping processes are recommended to be carried out after the curing is completed.

Curved surface adaptation treatment

If the adhering surface has a slight curvature, press from the middle of the marking to both sides gradually to expel the internal air to prevent air bubbles and gaps from forming between the nickel label and the shell.

Finished Product Storage

Unused 3D Nickel Emblems should be stored in a normal temperature, dry, and dark environment, away from electroplating solvents, acid-base chemicals. Under the original factory sealed packaging, the shelf life can reach 18 months; after opening, the materials need to be sealed and stored to prevent dust from contaminating the back adhesive surface, causing the bonding performance to deteriorate.

Finished Product Label Maintenance

Daily equipment cleaning can only use ultra-fine fiber soft cloths combined with neutral water and low-concentration alcohol to wipe the mirror nickel surface. Steel wool balls and hard scraping plates are prohibited from scraping the three-dimensional surface layer to prevent scratches and loss of gloss on the electroplated mirror surface.

The nickel labels on the high-temperature working areas of the equipment cannot be directly washed with high-temperature steam on the label area. Long-term invasion of high-temperature water vapor into the adhesive interface will cause edge delamination problems.

If the surface layer of the label is stained with stubborn stains, use a damp dust-free cloth to soak for a moment and gently wipe. Do not repeatedly rub the edge position of the three-dimensional protrusions.

If an old nickel label needs to be replaced, use low-temperature hot air to gently melt the adhesive layer and slowly peel it off. Do not forcefully tear it, to minimize damage to the shell paint surface as much as possible.
