In order to produce 3D plastic logos with a chrome appearance, Minghong Technology will electroplate ABS plastic decals. ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a tough and widely used plastic, especially favored in the automotive industry. During the electroplating process, a layer of metal (usually chromium) is deposited on the surface of ABS through electrochemical technology, forming a smooth, mirror like metal surface.
